And, because I absolutely love throwing out old code and installing new, untested (and probably bug-ridden) code in its place, I've overhauled the Friends page functionality over the past two days. You can now see a filtered collection of stories, photos, moods and quilts created by or for your friends, which will hopefully mean less trawling through the Update feed on the dashboard.
